Finally A High School Graduate

I finally did it! I am finally a high school graduate. This has been a crazy year with the COVID-19 outbreak and quarantine – I may not have had a prom or graduation ceremony but I have my diploma.  I am ready to start my new chapter in life at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. I don’t know where my future will go but I can’t wait to find out.

TPSMEA All State Band 1st place

It is truly an honor to receive  the 1st place at the TPSMEA All State Band  (Texas Private School Music Educators Association)  and performed as 1st tenor saxophone on January 25th   All State Concert at Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts.

We had a lot of fun staying in beautiful Renaissance Hotel in Dallas, where we can meet and great other dedicated musicians from across the state. It is always an amazing experience  to learn and performed with the best conductors in the State of Texas .

Musician’s Journey

It is an honor to be at the cover page  of February issue of Simply Spring Branch Magazine.

When they called me last month asking for the interview I never thought  that they will put me on the cover.

I hope this will create an additional recognition of Polka Dots project and help to promote our mission – keep bringing cheer where cheer needed the most !!!!

Polka Dots at The Forum Assisted Living Facility

December 7th, the Polka Dots performed at the Forum Assisted Living Facility.

We had such an amazing time and we were so glad to be there. I was joined by a few classmates, where we performed old show tunes, pop music, jazz, and Christmas songs to the residents  of The Forum. The show was a great success and I am excited to perform with the center again.

Since the creation of the Polka Dots, it has been a goal to involve students and young musicians in volunteering with me; luckily this dream is slowly being realized. I can’t wait for more performances

next year and all the years to come.

Our 7th year and we are going strong!!!

TPSMEA All State Here We Go!

I am honored to have been accepted to perform in the TPSMEA all state band this year. I will be representing myself and Awty International in Dallas Tx. I will be a first tenor in the band. I am ready for a weekend of early mornings, making new friends, and performing fantastic music. Can’t wait to perform!
